In addition to standard sizes from ½-ATR to 1½-ATR, POLYRACK also offers customer-specific solutions with various backplane slot counts for CompactPCI, VME/VME64x, VPX/OpenVPX or special designs.
ATRs are designed for harsh mechanical, climatic, chemical and electrical stresses and comply with MILSTD-810 for shock and vibration and MILSTD-461 for EMC.
ATRs are available with convection cooling and fan-assisted airflow, conduction cooling, and hybrid versions featuring liquid or air cooling.

Systems for marine applications are designed with special attention to water and salt resistance as well as shock and vibration. Bronze MIL-DTL-38999 III connector systems are used for harsh salt spray environments, backed by electrolytic nickel plating for below deck applications. Zero halogen wires and cables ensure the level of performance required for marine applications.

CAST AND RUG ENCLOSURES Enclosures for ruggedized applications are designed and manufactured to customer specifications, taking into account demands for IP/EMI protection, environmental concerns and heat dissipation aspects.
The CASTEC CasTEC enclosure series was introduced specifically for use in harsh industrial environments. The enclosure consists of two parts made of die-cast aluminium. The sealing gasket required for IP65 compliance is recessed into the cover. This practically eliminates the possibility of unintentional damage. This guarantees the reliability of the enclosure even when it is frequently opened and closed. A mounting plate can be placed on the base of the enclosure. Easily assembled and retrofitted brackets allow wall mounting.
ROUGHENED SOLUTION System enclosures made from a combination of sheet metal bending technology, aluminum extrusion process and aluminum die casting material suitable for VPX special rear panels.

Enclosures can be constructed in screw-fixed, bottomed, or vacuum braze versions per ARINC 404A/600. The construction can withstand extreme mechanical shock and vibration stresses per MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 and provides MIL-STD-461 compliance for EMI/EMC from environmental influences.

The enclosures provide advanced thermal management including conductive, liquid, hybrid or fan-assisted cooling, taking into account the highest possible heat load of the installed cards.
