Common and First Liquid Cooling Solution: The most common liquid cooling solution on the market, tube cooling plates, are also the first to be introduced. A channeled aluminum base plate is created using the milling processing technique, then copper pipes are placed in these channels. It is an ideal solution thanks to both the good thermal conductivity of aluminum and the corrosion resistance of copper.
Mechanical Connection with Epoxy Resin: While the metal connection between the tube and the plate is provided by mechanical contact, epoxy resin with high thermal conductivity is also added. This addition is to prevent the formation of air gaps and maximize heat transfer efficiency.
Direct Contact in Copper Tube PTs: In copper tube PT cooling plates, the cooling liquid comes into direct contact with the tube, thus maximizing thermal performance.
Old But Effective Technology: Although tube cooling plates are a mature technology, they are still effective and offer good heat transfer and corrosion resistance.
Differences Compared to Other Options: While other liquid cooling plates use brazing technology, tube cooling plates prefer mechanical connection and epoxy resin. This difference also manifests itself in the design and production process.
